Rubber Fender
Marine Fenders
Rubber Fenders
Wide-ranging Rubber Fenders are manufactured in accordance with PIANC guidelines and come in a range of compounds to suit various applications. Our high- performance solutions combine low reaction force and hull pressure with good angular performance and rugged construction, suited even for the most demanding marine environment

Foam Fenders
Wear and tear resistant Foam Fenders absorb impacts even in an aggressive environment. Our Foam Fenders share a construction technology centered on a closed cell polyethylene foam core and an outer skin of reinforced polyurethane elastomer. The closed cell foam structure makes punctures a thing of the past. Every cell is separate and so water cannot migrate into the foam. Even after many years of active service, the foam core can be returned to the factory, re-skinned and made ready for a new lease of life. No matter how badly abused, Foam Fenders, will not burst or explode. Damage is rare, but if the worst should happen our foam fenders will still function until repairs are possible.

Pneumatic Fenders are ideal for permanent and semi-permanent port applications and for offshore ship-to-ship transfers. Fast and easy to deploy, ISO 17357-1:2014 quality assured fenders ensure large clearances are maintained between the hull and jetty or other vessels. Risk of damage during mooring is minimized, protecting people and cargo. supplies a wide range of sizes and in standard or high-pressure versions. Smaller fenders can be supplied as Hook type. Larger fenders are commonly fitted with a chain-tyre net (CTN) for added protection. For navy ships, a grey body is also available.

Tug Fenders
Tug fenders must work harder, for longer and under more extreme conditions than any other fender type. Tug vessels use fenders as bumpers to move larger vessels, so they are constantly being pushed against steel surfaces which cause the fender to wear and tear quickly. high abrasion resistant, low density Tug Fenders are cost effective and long-lasting. They may be fitted with up to four types of fenders – each type serving a particular application. developed a new high performance super abrasion resistant (HPSAR) compound used in our Tug Cylindrical fenders, increasing service life significantly

D Fenders

DD Type
D Fenders are the most widely used fenders around the world for applications like protection of tug boats and small jetties and wharfs

DO Type
DO Fenders are very popular in the new vessel building industry due to the ease of fixing these fenders in the sides of the vessels without drilling on the vessel shell.

Marinas & Pontoons
Various types of fendering solutions for marinas and pontoons are offered by FENDER SYSTEMS with a choice of non marking grey or black color rubber fenders. Other colors of fenders are available on request
SO Type

SO TYPE
Square fenders present a popular alternative to D type fenders where a more heavy duty performance is required.

SD TYPE
Square fenders present a popular alternative to D type fenders where a more heavy duty performance is required.

Keyhole Type
Square fenders with a keyhole shaped inner bore have the flexibility to adjust the width to enable easy fixing and adjustments during fixing on the bow of the vessel. They are simple to install and are used by tug boats and service vessels. The fenders are mainly used for pushing larger vessels. These fenders can also be installed on curved structures and round corners.
Keyhole fenders are available also with UHMW PE facing pads for applications where rough seas and movements are expected. The low friction facing pads assist in easy movement between the fender and vessel structure.

W – Fenders
W fenders have now become the designer’s first choice for bow and AFT fendering due to the preference by the tug boat and other vessel operators around the world who have experienced the performance of these fenders. They offer an excellent alternative to square fenders and are easy to install. The fenders are mainly used for pushing larger vessels. These fenders can also be installed on curved structures and round corners.
Cylindrical Bow & Aft Fenders

Wing – Fenders
WING FENDERS are designed for easy installation on vessels and concrete structures. With performance similar to cylindrical and D fenders and the added ease of the wing type installation they are suitable for small jetties, pleasure crafts, pilot boats, barges and tugboats.

Cylindrical Fenders
Cylindrical fenders remain the most popular fender system around the world due to their simple construction, easy installation and availability. These fenders are available from a small 100mm outer diameter for use by a small boat up to a diameter of 2100mm or for use by an oil super tanker. Cylindrical fenders are manufactured either by extrusion or wrapping process. The fenders can be installed horizontally or vertically

Arch Fenders
ARCH FENDERS offer a great variety and options for all types of requirements. They can be used for small marinas with non marking type VLA fenders for luxury yachts and GRP vessels as well as for berthing of vessels over 100000 dwt. These fenders can also be used all around a pile or platform leg to protect it against accidental damage. Fender Systems offers the arch fenders with the UHMW PE facing pad in cases where a low coefficient of friction is required, especially in cases where there is a more wave motion which can make the vessel to rub up and down against the fender. These are also useful where the vessel continues to move perpendicular to the fender after berthing thereby inducing shear stresses on the fender.

Cell Fenders
CELL FENDERS are designed based on the axial loading performance of cylindrical fenders with steel plates embedded within the rubber. The buckling action of the fender results in increased energy absorption and a lower reaction transmission with a multi-directional dispersion of energy. Cell fenders can be used a single fender or a combination of more fenders fixed to one steel facing panel. The fenders are offered in different grades to suit the required energy absorption and the allowable reaction force.

Cone Fenders
CONE Fenders are the latest version of fenders developed based on the cell fenders, but with increased deflection and higher energy absorption. These fenders can be supplied in various grades to match the required reaction force and energy absorption. Cone fenders have to be used along with steel facing panel fitted with UHMW PE pads. Multiple cone fenders can be used along with a single frontal panel to achieve the best possible result in terms of performance and economy. FENDER SYSTEMS offers design, manufacture and testing of the fenders and the steel panels for any application.

Element Leg Fenders
ELEMENT LEG FENDERS are a unique type of fenders in view of their construction, manufacturing process and performance.

Custom Rubber Seals
We design and manufacture custom molded rubber parts and bespoke engineered components to the most exacting customer specifications. From a one-off part up to 1 million+ parts. Problem solving is central to our culture, providing customers with optimal design solutions. Using the latest elastomer materials and manufacturing techniques, combined with many years of top level sealing experience, we can produce custom molded rubber shapers and profiles to meet any requirements.
By working more closely with our customers, our engineers can develop sealing solutions which last longer, require less maintenance and deliver the lowest cost of ownership.

Elastometer O-Rings
We manufacture and supply fully molded elastomer O-rings from 1.5mm (0.06″) to 2.5 metres (8ft) outer diameter, and 0.8mm (0.03″) to 12mm (0.47″) cross section. Rubber O-rings can be manufactured in both small and large volumes.

Lip Seals
Energized lip seals comprise of a high modulus elastomer, (or high grade engineering plastic) jacket and a low modulus elastomer O-ring energizer. The low modulus O-ring energizes the jacket under low pressure conditions to increase the sealing force allowing them to be used in low and high pressure applications.
Energized lip seals provide a versatile sealing system for uni-directional pressure applications in either static or reciprocating dynamic conditions. Energized lip seals are symmetric in their cross section and so they can be used in both rod or piston grooves. Backup rings can be used in conjunction with energized lip seals to enhance extrusion resistance.

Wiper Seals – Scrapper Seals
Wiper seals are also known as scraper seals, excluders and collars. Their primary role is to provide a physical barrier to limit the ingress of moisture, dirt and other contaminants from piston rods used in hydraulic systems into the primary sealing system. This prevents external contamination from damaging internal seals and other system components.
Wiper seals are typically used in conjunction with other sealing elements and require a snap in fit into rod groove locations, complimenting a primary sealing solution.
